High School Playoff Seeds

The CIF released its high school football playoff seedings Saturday.  In the Central Section, the undefeated Buchanan Bears got the top seed in D-I.  They earn a first-round bye and play either Clovis East or Centennial in the quarterfinals.  Bullard, also undefeated, gets the second seed.

Tulare Union, Dinuba, Kingsburg, Corcoran and Tranquillity are the other top seeds.

In the Sac-Joaquin Section, CCC champion Los Banos (7-3) is the 8th seed in Division-I and will host 9th-seeded Modesto in the first round.

Atwater (7-3) is the 10th seed in D-II.  Buhach Colony (16-4) is the 16th seed.
