Gary Salazar Repeats as National Champion!

What's better than being a national champion?  How about repeating as national champion!

Fresno boxer Gary Salazar won a three-round decision Saturday to win the 2010 National Silver Gloves Championship.  It'll go nicely win the one he has from 2009.

Salazar hasn't lost since November of 2008, 25 bouts ago.  He dedicated his victory at 112 pounds to Francisco Aleman Sr, the late father of his coach, Frank Aleman.

A victory celebration for Salazar is scheduled for Monday night here in Fresno.
