But did you know that they whole $5 campaign was started, not in corporate headquarters, but by a store owner in a stuggling Subway store in Miami? Yup, that's right. The whole $5 footlong phenomena was the brainchild of one man who wanted to help his struggling business... and it is now considered the fast-food success story of the recession.
