What's the best ice cream?

I've gotten votes for Superior Dairy in Hanford & Fresno State's ice cream... What's YOUR favorite local ice cream parlor (not a chain)?

Hey Mike Oz, thanks for including a link to us...

I know there has to be one more local homemade ice cream place. What about the ice cream place in Old Town Clovis?

Well, if you can find it... Braun's Almond Joy ice cream is to DIE for!  Coconut Ice Cream + almond chunks + chocolate flecks = heaven.  The local maker used to have a few shops, but they're harder and harder to track down...

Intrepid CBS47 reporter Katie Davis says that Yogurlato at Champlain & Perrin carries Lappert's ice cream.  (it's based out of Hawaii.)  It makes THE best Coconut Ice Cream. (Can you tell I'm obsessed with coconut?)  The owners also make homemade gelato that's soooo yummy.  Okay, gotta go.  I'm hungry!

Homemade gelatto? I'm there. I think Piazza del Pane makes their own too.. or at least carries it.
