It's that time of year again.
The San Joaquin Valley Air Pollution Control District is again issuing restrictions on wood burning.
Watch the weather on CBS47 or check our website daily to find out when wood burning is prohibited in your county.
The latest information is always available at

Bans are in effect from midnight to midnight. They apply to burning wood, pellets and manufactured logs.
"Check Before You Burn" runs each year from November to March and aims to reduce pollution by restricting the use of wood-burning devices when poor air quality is expected.
There are two exceptions to the rule.
You may still burn wood if your home does not have access to natural-gas service (even if propane is available).
You may still burn wood if it is the sole source of heat for your home.
