A sunny and windy Saturday morning for the 31st annual Brian Sturgeon St. Patrick's Day Run.
Run proceeds benefit United Cerebral Palsy of Central California.

Here's CBS47's own Steve McCarron. He's running in a group training for an upcoming marathon benefiting the Leukemia & Lymphoma Society.

Who is Brian Sturgeon?
Here's a bit of the story from http://www.briansturgeonrun.com/
The Fresnan, once an avid runner, doesn’t run any more because of chronic cerebral palsy and an arthritic back. But he will walk the 2-mile route at our annual event that raises money for United Cerebral Palsy of Central California.
Sturgeon has been a fixture at every race since the first one in 1979. Then, the race was a two-hour run in conjunction with the UCP telethon. Now, it is part of the valley's Runner-of-the-Year series.
