Pictures taken by one of the passengers on board Allegiant Flight 507, after the plane made an emergency landing in Las Vegas (surrounded by emergency vehicles). The MD-83 lost an engine while flying from Vegas to Fresno on April 26th. Many passengers on board thought they were going to die. Click here for my earlier blog post on the very scary situation.
Comments from the passenger who took the above pictures:
"Only the passengers on this flight could feel the sickness we felt in our stomach. So many of the passengers had the fear of sadness, sickness and desperation that death was imminent. When we finally landed, there was so many tears including myself. You think Allegiant Airline would have tried to do their best and show compassion. We could not even get a "I'm sorry for what happened" but by their inaction basically told us, don't let the door hit you on the way out while your trying to fend for yourself. We were all basically left to fend for ourselves after we were made several promises. No hotel, no food, no transportation, no direction. Not to mention the four hours we had to wait for our luggage. Again, those of us who were on this plane together, we will always have that moment we felt when we all thought we were going to die."
