Second swine flu case in Fresno County

Just confirmed:

The Fresno County Department of Public Health has identified a second probable human case of H1N1 virus infection. The adolescent, who attends Edison High School, was not hospitalized. The Department is working with Fresno Unified to ensure that the student remains at home until symptoms are no longer present.

The Department has not recommended a school closure at this time.

In the effort to prevent the spread of H1N1 and other influenza viruses, students and their families are asked to stay home from school or work, and to avoid social gatherings such as graduations, if symptoms of influenza are present.

Stay tuned to CBS47 for updates on this breaking story.
