Is the concert still on?  Has it been cancelled?  Why aren't tickets on sale???

The Fresno Grand Opera's General Director Ron Eichman has promised to give me some answers early this week - about the December 10th Andrea Bocelli concert at SaveMart Center.

Eichman sent me this e-mail late Friday night:  "We should be able to clear up the confusion first part of the week.  Thanks for your patience."

But one of our viewers posted this comment on the blog Sunday:

I don't think Bocelli is coming anymore.
FGO (Fresno Grand Opera) season tickets holders were able to purchase tickets in sections 1 and 2 as well as the VIP reception.
These tickets were refunded by FGO on 11/2 with no explanation.
Already sold tickets printed and mailed - then credit card refunds issued for hundreds of dollars? Bocelli is not coming.
Too bad; terrible communication and marketing of FGO.

Is that viewer correct?  I have no way of knowing.

All I can do at this point is wait for Ron Eichman to, in his words - "clear up the confusion."
