This is the news local skiers have been waiting for!
Here's the info from the Sierra Summit website about this weekend's opening:
We plan to open this SAT and SUN NOV 21-22 ! Opening will be on a limited basis with the learning hill and beginner hill open with lift access and some boxes and rails set on the beginner hill. Snowmaking has been going great and that means we will open Chair 4 and Chair 6 this weekend with with Sundown Ridge and Middle and Lower Tollhouse and Academy from the bottom of Chair 4 back to the base area. Lift ticket prices will be $25 for adults, $20 for youth and $10 for children and of course, current season passes are accepted. The rental shop and sport shop will be open with lessons available.
