Normally, I don't put lost dogs on the blog, because we have the PET PLACE on our CBS47 website for lost and found creatures.
But every once in awhile, I make an exception. Today is one such case.
Here's an e-mail I received around midnight Thursday:
Dear Mike, we watch you every morning and know that you are a dog lover. We left yesterday to take a much needed vacation to Hawaii and left our 2 dogs with our friend.
Daizy our Border/Aussie mix had never been away from us and she bolted out the door as quick as it opened. We were already in LA and I am just sick with worry. Everyone is out looking but so far nothing. She went rogue in the area south of Shaw between First and Millbrook. She is probably frantically looking for home.
She left our other dog (every dog for himself, I guess) at the house while my friend and her husband ran after her for several hours before losing sight of her. Can you please post her picture? She is only a year old and is wearing a blue collar. She has our number and my friends number: Angel 230-0302. (Angel is just sick too!)
My husband is thinking of going home and making us go on to Hawaii without him and he will probably do it if we don’t hear anything by 7:30 tomorrow morning. Our flight leaves at 8 a.m. ugh…what a dilemma.
Thanks for any help you can provide about our Daizy.
