Mardi Gras in Fresno's Tower District this weekend

New Orleans style entertainment and dining comes to the Tower District for the 13th annual Mardi Gras celebration:

ROMAN-Tic Mardi Gras

Festivities begin on Sunday, February 14th with the Roman themed Grand Mardi Gras Parade at 1:00 p.m. The parade starts at Olive and Fruit avenues, traveling east on Olive then North on Maroa Avenue. Floats, live bands, walking and biking krewes, choral groups, dancing troupes, drum lines and much more - all bring life to this diverse celebration of community. Come early to get a good spot for viewing all the fun.

If New Orleans style food is your fancy, Tower restaurants will be serving up Cajun and Creole meal specials all week long for lunch and dinner.

For the nightlife lovers, the Tower District Mardi Gras festivities conclude with indoor Fat Tuesday parties on February 16 at most Tower District restaurants and night spots. Fat Tuesday parties feature live music, beads, drink and dinner specials and lots of Tower-style fun. Mardi Gras in the Tower is brought to you by the Tower District Marketing Committee.
